The new Renault 5 E-Tech is a modern, fully electric revival of the classic Renault 5, blending retro-inspired design with contemporary electric vehicle (EV) technology. It is built on Renault's new AmpR Small platform and features a front-wheel-drive system powered by a synchronous electric motor. Three power outputs are available: 94 hp, 121 hp, and 148 hp.
The vehicle offers two battery options: a 40 kWh pack and a 52 kWh pack, with the latter providing an estimated range of up to 255 miles (WLTP). DC fast charging is available as an option, potentially matching the 130 kW maximum rate of the Renault MĂ©gane E-Tech.
