Whilst we’re proud of our business we’re super passionate about supporting our local community and are always willing to help local clubs and teams.
Our latest sponsorship was with Birtley Town FC in 2019 and we were set to sponsor Washington Running Clubs Bottom’s Up Cup event in 2020 before Covid-19 scuppered all plans. Now that we’re learning to live with Covid-19 and clubs, teams and our community are coming back together again we’re actively looking at what support we can offer in 2022.
Both Company Directors are active members of Washington Running Club and are registered England Athletic Run Leaders who give up their free time, to help lead and develop runners each week. They are both active volunteers with their local Park Run, with Kelly having achieved over 25 volunteering slots recently. Simon has regularly coached youth football teams too. In 2020 and 2021, much focus was with struggling families, so it was decided that each month we’d support our local foodbank.
Community is very important to National Vehicle Solutions, we promote active, healthy lifestyles and are family focused, which is why we’ll never ask staff to work a Bank Holiday, weekend or throughout Christmas and New Year.
