a.  During my agreement, will RFL be included?

Yes, as the vehicle is registered to the leasing company, then they will receive the tax reminder and post the renewal direct to you.

b.  Is maintenance included in my agreement?

If you have selected a maintenance contract, then maintenance is included.  However if you opt for a non maintenance contract then you will have to maintain the vehicle according to manufacturer requests to uptain the warranty.

c.  What does fair wear and tear mean?

d.  What if I change jobs or move house and my mileage goes over the contracted mileage?

As circumstances can change, leasing companies adapt around this.  You can alter your mileage and payment to match the mileage you are experiencing during your contract or at the end of the agreement you can pay the already negotiated excess pence per mile.

e.  I have a personal plate on my vehicle, can I place this plate on a lease vehicle?

Yes, you need to place your current plate on retention naming the leasing company you are opting to fund the vehicle through as the nominee of the plate.  Forms can be obtained from the DVLA.  When your new vehicle arrives the administrator will order a V55 to place your plate on the new lease vehicle.  just before the end of the agreement you will need to ask the leasing company for the log book to re-place your plate back on retention.  Along with the DVLA fee, some leasing companies may charge a small fee.  Usually your supplier will handle this for you.

f.  Can I hand the vehicle back before the agreement ends?

Yes, as with any early termination a settlement figure must be obtained and paid before the vehicle can be handed back.  We would advise if you believe that you may need to hand the vehicle back that you consider taking the vehicle over the shorter period to begin with.
